Read Food Labels

Nutrition LabelRead before every meal.    Look for low levels of saturated fat, trans-fat, cholesterol and sodium (less than 5%) on nutrition labels.    Make sure you’re getting enough dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and iron (20% or more).

In order to get fit and maintain wellness, you must make it your business to know what you’re putting into your body.   Read the nutritional labels and go for the foods that offer what your body needs.
