Mood Energizing Monday

Re-energize your mood this Monday.     Laughing, dancing and having fun with friends is good for you – both body and soul.     So start the week with healthy activities that make you happy!

Getting fit and well requires consistency.  However, things can get boring if you don’t mix it up or incorporate some fun stuff.  Whether you start today off by walking or jogging, find something fun and energizing to get your body moving.  If you didn’t get a chance to get any exercise in this morning, work something in this evening.

Water aerobics is a great way to burn calories, get the body moving and get a good workout.  If you haven’t tried it before, put it on your list — it’s fun and will give you a good total body-workout without putting extra strain on your back or joints.  Back pain sufferers and those with joint pain find water aerobics very therapeutic.

Grab a friend and go for a walk, a swim, a bike ride, or workout together at the gym or your fitness center.    Exercising with a friend is a wonderful way to keep things interesting and keep yourself motivated.    Having an exercise buddy also helps to keep you accountable.  So, get out there and get moving . . . make it fun and make it happen!
